Your Event Planning Amidst Covid-19
The Coronavirus has definitely had an impact on brides, grooms, and all others who are planning weddings and other special events. When so much is uncertain, we can still keep the spirit of celebration in our hearts and minds. After all, it is mostly about coming together, as a couple, as a family, as a gathering of close friends. I say close friends because it seems that the main change we are all having to make when planning this year is honing the all-important guest list.
For this upcoming weekend, rather than postponing their wedding, our clients have chosen merely to limit attendees to family only. This is a tough call, but that, together with changing the venue to a smaller one, has helped them to be in compliance with state regulations for gatherings.
So far, so good. We are able to play for weddings and events. As of now, we are simply playing at a little bit farther distance than usual--keeping a 20' buffer around the quartet.
If you have already booked with us, we are giving 100% credit to you if you have to postpone your wedding.
Smaller or even smaller, it is our desire to make your event very special this wedding season. Coronavirus is a looming, potentially dangerous, and ever-changing circumstance that will need a great deal of understanding on the part of all involved. 2020 will definitely be a year of many memories! Many will be "quirky". some difficult, strange, and tragic as well. At Cloud 9, it is our hope that your event will be very special, rife with goodness, and, of course, love!
