All of our string ensembles require a shaded location in which to perform. Direct sunlight can, and has, damaged string instruments. Many venues have natural shade from trees, mountains, awnings, buildings, etc. If they don't have shade, some venues have tents, canopies or large umbrellas that will suffice. This photo from a wedding we played at the Garden of the Gods Resort shows our 10 X 10 canopy. This is available for a rental fee. This sized canopy provides sufficient shade but is not sufficient to protect from rain, cold, snow, etc.
