Selecting Your Event Playlist
Selecting your music can range from general requests to specific songs. Generally, clients ask for broad categories like popular tunes, classical pieces, and we pick the specific pieces. Occasionally, events feature particular themes. For example, we have been asked to perform selections from Star Wars, video game scores, patriotic music, hymns, etc. We're happy to play specific songs that suit the occasion. Our Sound System
For events with more than 300 attendees, it is crucial to utilize a sound system to guarantee clear audibility for all participants. At venues such as arenas, stadiums, convention centers, and large churches, we typically use the venue's in-house sound system. The costs of in-house systems are usually included in the venue rental and are not part of our contracted services. When you rent our sound system and the technician, the fee will be incorporated into your total cost. O

Why We Don't Do String Trio
Cloud 9 Quartet at Della Terra in Estes Park Our goal is to deliver amazing sound and help make your event memorable. On one occasion, a wedding planner insisted that we hire a string trio for her client's special day. She assured us, "A string trio sounds just like a quartet but is more budget-friendly." I am writing this blog to explain why we do not offer a string trio and seldom recommend a duo or a solo performance. Imagine attending a concert during the Beatles' era. Yo

Songs Off The List

Our repertoire is extensive, spanning music from over five centuries, from Renaissance dances to Taylor Swift. However, it's impossible to list every song. We dedicate significant time to writing arrangements, purchasing music, and crafting playlists for our live performances to ensure we deliver what our clients and audiences desire. Unlike a DJ, who ca

You said, "yes", and suddenly, you are an event planner! Even if you hire a professional coordinator, there are many decisions that you will want to make yourself. Playing for the Claude Monet Exhibit
One of our most cherished performances was the grand opening gala of the Claude Monet exhibit at the Denver Art Museum. Guests had the opportunity to take photos in front of a green screen, choosing their favorite Monet painting as the backdrop. For this occasion, we played music from the Impressionist period, featuring works by Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Gabriel Fauré, and others, to complement the Monet-inspired theme. The event was a tremendous success, garnering excel
