Yes! We love to play in the beautiful Colorado Rockies. We also travel throughout the USA. Since we are based in the Denver area we frequently perform in Vail, Aspen, Colorado Springs, Crested Butte, Estes Park, Breckenridge, etc. Some locations will require overnight accomodations. Quartet String Quartet is our most popular group. Our arrangements for pop and rock music are all arranged for string quartet. Most classical composers also preferred the string quartet for chambrer music. Trio The string trio works well if you want only classical music and you need a smaller volume of sound. Duo The string duo works well for small gatherings where a more intimate ambience is desired. Soloists A soloist can enhance any event. We have played for "surprise" proposals, dinners, receptions, etc. Other Instruments The are many other combinations of instruments but keep in mind that music is usually written for specific groupings and instrument families. Can we have a saxophone in our string quartet? Yes, but the blend would be bad and the player would not be one of our quartet regulars so they may not be very comfortable playing violin music. While we specialize in strings, we also book brass quintets for weddings and commencements. In addition, we book jazz bands and full orchestras and can refer you to a DJ. We are a full orchestra that plays for weddings and special events. Our string quartet comes form a team of about 12 string players that we regularly use. Our team of musicians represents the finest musicians in Colorado. Since our musicians are full time professional players, they frequently get called to play with the Colorado Symphony, Colorado Ballet, touring Broadway shows, etc. Our musicians are in high demand. Most of our events, such as wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, rehearsal dinners, etc. do not require sound equipment. When we are playing for larger events we usually use the sound gear and technicians that are at the event. For some events we have sound equipment and technicians available for hire.
