Sound re-enforcement is usually not necessary for a string quartet.  Of course everything depends on the venue. For events over 200 guests we do recommend sound enhancement. Most venues have sound equipment available. You may also have a DJ with extra microphones and speakers.  We have a certain amount of sound equipment available on a limited basis.
